Single Coil Solar Hot Water Storage Tank for closed loop solar thermal applications are designed to cope with freezing water and hard water conditions . They employ an enamelled coil heat exchanger. Heat exchange fluid comprising a mixture of water and food grade glycol is passed through the solar collectors and the stored water is heated when the fluid passes through the heat exchanger.

GOMON enamel coated inner tank applies BAOSTEEL special enamel steel plate and America Ferro enamel powder. It is produced by advanced processes including flexible CNC rolling technology, America plasma automatic welding and Germany rolling enamel technology. It passes 280,000 times' pressure impulse tests, with good performance of anti-pressure, anti-fatigue, anti-acid, anti-alkali, anti-corrosion and anti-hot water corrosion, which guarantees its service life.

Enamelled coil has bigger heat exchange area than copper coil, roughly 50% higher. Its heat exchange efficiency is better. It will not have air blocking inside. The 59T and 66T series controls are designed to meet the high electrical capacity requirements of electric water heaters. Both use a temperature sensitive bimetal disc to deliver snap-action to the contacts. The speed and force of contact separation provides long-dependable control life at high
electrical loads.

                                     How It Works:
 

1. Heat exchange fluid from the bottom enamelled coil of tank is pumped through the roof top solar collectors, and is heated by the sun.
2. The stored water is heated when the fluid passes through the heat exchanger.  
3. Supplementary heating is provided if insufficient heat is available from the sun(such as during cloudy or rainy weather or  during winter months) either via electric booster or via gas booster.
